Good Samaritan Nursing Home’s Annual Fall Festival
West Islip, NY - On October 13, Good Samaritan Nursing Home hosted their annual Fall Family Festival. The day was filled with good food, family and friends. Every year the nursing home residents invite their families to a barbeque. Dietary provided traditional fare including hot dogs, hamburgers and salads. The guests enjoyed treats of ice cream, popcorn and cookies. Guests danced to music provided by The Next Level Band as well as a bouncie house, crafts and face painting.
These events give residents the opportunity to have experience the joy of having family and friends to their home. During the year Good Samaritan Nursing Home offers several opportunities for families to enjoy the nursing home including cookies with Santa and a movie in the moonlight. Residents appreciate being surrounded by their children and grandchildren, giving them the opportunity to welcome their families and create new memories.
